Long before the Autobots and Decepticons, Cybertron thrives under the rule of the respected Sentinel Prime. Best friends Orion Pax and D-16 dream of protecting their world, believing Sentinel is the leader Cybertron needs. But after uncovering a conspiracy, they discover Sentinel has betrayed the legacy of the Primes, sacrificing Cybertron's future to secure his own power. Searching for answers, Orion and D-16 encounter the High Guard, an exiled military faction that refused to serve Sentinel's corrupt rule. While Orion believes Cybertron can still be saved through hope and unity, D-16 grows convinced that peace can only be achieved through overwhelming strength. As Sentinel hunts them down, the friendship between Orion and D-16 begins to fracture. The truth sparks a revolution across Cybertron, culminating in a final battle against Sentinel Prime. After Orion defeats the tyrant, he refuses to execute him, believing justice should replace revenge. D-16 sees mercy as weakness. Declaring Sentinel unworthy of forgiveness, he kills him before the people of Cybertron. With Sentinel dead, D-16 abandons his old identity and takes a new name: Megatron. Rallying the High Guard behind him, he vows to build a stronger Cybertron through absolute power. Horrified by his friend's transformation, Orion realizes the fight for Cybertron has only just begun. As two brothers become bitter enemies, the foundations of the Autobots and Decepticons are born, igniting a war that will shape Cybertron's destiny forever.
