A Kenyan American gentle giant with superhuman strength, who studied various forms of wrestling, such as Greco-Roman wrestling, submission wrestling, and pro-wrestling. Gung-ho can rip through doors and walls with ease. Gung-ho is also tech-savvy with computers. Gung-Ho is also a lover of animals except for bees and wasps, which he is afraid of since the time he was stung when he was young. Gung-Ho has a big appetite and eats enormous portions of food. Although he gets along pretty well with everyone on the team, Duke turns out to be his closest friend. Gung-Ho is bald-headed but has a black goatee and green eyes. His combat uniform in the G.I. Joe Cadet Corps is orange, the same color as his Autobot partner Ratchet's finish. He represents the United States Marine Corps. His catchphrase is: "Young punks—get off my lawn!".
