A self-centered mother who serves as a major antagonist in the story. Karina believes that only she knows what's best for her children, and buys wholesale into Kowling's moral panic about embracing trans kids being a form of harm. She claims that one of her own children was a victim of the transgender community, that she "saved" them by forcing them to stop transitioning, and continually uses them as a symbol of her movement against the promotion of "trans ideology" to children... But her child doesn't actually seem all that happy under her thumb...
