Synopsis

A live action adaptation of the irreverent cartoon comedy that is a spoof of reality shows like "Survivor" and "Fear Factor." Somewhere along the seaboard of Canada, there's a far-off island called Camp Wawanakwa. On the island, 22 random teenagers sign up to spend eight weeks at a crummy summer camp where they will compete against each other in a series of competitions, and each competition is more dangerous than the last. The obstacles include an arrogant host, flies that bite, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food, a smelly outhouse that is also a confessional booth, and backstabbing contestants. After each contest, someone will be voted off. The last one standing will receive a huge cash prize and the kind of fame that will put them on the cover of a magazine. The teams are the "Screaming Gophers" and the "Killed Bass." Each contestant has it's own distinct personality label like the nerd, the jock, the queen bee, the wannabe, and more.
