Description of The Mother:
Elegant, ruthless, and mysterious, the being who refers to herself as "The Mother" possesses powers similar to Dahlia's and a taste for finery. No one knows who she is or how old or powerful, but even Cassavetes fears her and she has an interest in taking Dahlia under her wing.

castingsinmyblood by the way, I envisioned The Mother as having an army of young followers. Whereas Cassavetes is a fascistic and exploitive state power, The Mother represents a wild and lawless "rules don't apply to us because we're better" mentality.
