The most well-known actor in the biopic, William Randall "Willie" Gordon is a Hollywood superstar and western idol who's more in common with Lucky than all the actors as Lucky was one of his mentors. Unfortunately, Willie has fallen on hard times due to reckless behavior and a stint in a sanitarium for alcoholism. He basically inspired by Errol Flynn and other actors of his time. Also based a bit on Tobey Maguire and Tom Cruise
