Description of Brielle Porter:
Brielle Porter didn’t mind the stares she got for being plus-sized, but she wished they came with fewer judgments. Some days, she loved her body; other days, it felt like her biggest obstacle. She was a baker, known in town for her cupcakes. Her dream was to open a bakery, but running a business seemed impossible when people only saw her weight and not her talent. She had come to the open mic night for inspiration and stayed for the music. Leona’s voice made her feel something she hadn’t in years: bold. She nervously complimented the singer after the show and was invited to join the table where Leona and Aria sat.
