Description of Bor Burison (Flashbacks):

This is how, without even knowing it, Odin exchanged conversations with Malekith, helping him so that he could, with luck, obtain the Primordial Aether, which could put an end to the Asgardian revolt. He may not have succeeded in those times, but he can certainly perpetuate his misfortune with what he achieved, until he is thus defeated by Bor and his army, seemingly forever. Ashamed and with a massive weight on his conscience, Odin never revealed this fact to his father, or to anyone else. The only one who would know this would be the other young man who saved him, responsible for cutting off Malekith's arm, and who swore to keep this secret in his soul. That was Heimdall.
