Earthly doctor Donald Blake begins to have odd dreams of himself fighting strange ice monsters with a powerful hammer that could emitting lightning he could throw it and it would come right back to his hand as these dreams got more common the very hammer in his dreams falls to earth landing in Central Park a short walk from his home he but no one can lift it he soon learns that he is the reincarnation of thor the Norse God of thunder he must reclaim his hammer travel to asgard and dethrone his brother loki the man who killed him in the first place
