Description of Gordon:

Pompous, self-important, smug and borderline elitist, Gordon has a bad habit of letting his position as the chief express engine go to his smokebox, usually requiring the other engines (or Fate) to bring him down a couple of pegs. That said, he still cares for the other engines and is willing to help out if necessary and give out the occasional piece of advice.

user_9723 I fail to see how Walsh is a good choice for Gordon. You need someone who sounds mature, experienced and pompous.
