Barnaby is a large, powerful tender engine based on the Nickel Plate Road 765 (Berkshire class). He was brought to Sodor to help Murdoch with heavy "heavy" goods trains. Personality: A "gentle giant." He has a deep, booming voice but is incredibly soft-spoken. He’s a bit of a philosopher and loves watching the sunset at Knapford Harbor. Appearance: Midnight blue livery with silver lining. He has an American-style "cowcatcher" and a large headlight above his face. Dynamic: He often has to remind Gordon that "big" doesn't always have to mean "boisterous."
