BJ (short for Barney Jr.) is a 8 year old yellow dinosaur boy who wears a red baseball cap. Like other boys his age, he loves pirates, cowboys, astronauts, video games, rock n roll, hip hop, sports, trains, Lego, Hot Wheels and of course, superheroes. He even went as Captain Pickles for Halloween one year. (If you don't know who Captain Pickles is, he's a character that BJ made up.) His mom and dad are Barney and Angelina. He also has a cousin named Riff, who's a year younger than him, and a little sister named Baby Bop. He works as a delivery boy for the newspaper company, giving out newspapers to the citizens of Sodor every weekday morning. He rides a red scooter, which was a present that his parents got him for his birthday a year ago. BJ can sometimes be a bit of a trickster, pulling pranks. But his pranks sometimes backfire and his family sometimes notices it, before it starts. However, his pranks are all pretty much innocent, and don't cause harm to anyone. However no matter what, his family still loves him very much. Even if they embarrass him.
