The story follows twin sisters, Naomi and Tina who are polar opposites. Naomi is a runaway bride, summoned by her twin sister to bail her out of trouble. On her arrival to the little town of Knockemout, Virginia, she meets the handsome Knox Morgan who though grumpy, swings into action to help her and her niece Waylay who her twin had abandoned. Stranded in Knockemout, Naomi tries to start a new life but her attraction to Knox makes it all complicated especially when he is giving non-committal vibes. As they spend more time together, a relationship of sorts develops especially after Naomi’s parents already assume the two are dating and they had to pretend they were an item.
