Synopsis

James is the protagonist and narrator of the story. He is a former homeless man and recovering drug addict who works as a street performer and Big Issue seller in London. James is determined to stay clean and rebuild his life, and his relationship with his cat, Bob, plays a significant role in his transformation. He is compassionate, reflective, and deeply grateful for the second chance he's found through his friendship with Bob.
