Sabertooth is a mutant with a number of natural and artificial improvements in its physiology compared to normal humans. His primary mutant power is an accelerated healing ability that allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his body and cellular structure far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human being. Like Wolverine's, her abilities have been described with varying degrees of contradiction by various creators. Sabertooth's increased attributes derive, in part, from the aforementioned healing. This "healing factor" also grants him virtual immunity against most poisons, drugs, toxins and diseases, and limited immunity to fatigue.
