Maleva Maric nee Rivard is a French born Roma leader, serving as the matriarch for this clan moving through LLanglow town. Widowed at an early age Maleva is manouche but fell in love with Dragoljub Maric of Serbia on the road. Maleva is a great beauty and the foster mother of the Cerny orphans and she now serves as matriarch following the passing of her mother-in-law Mara Dragova while her husband now governs over them as leader. Along with the other Roma, the Marics become aware of the wolf stalking them across Wales and try to defend themselves from it and the suspicious towns people.
