Michael De Santa takes an entry-level job at a Legion Square brokerage firm. By the late 1980s, while still in his 20s, De Santa founds his own firm. Together with his trusted lieutenant and a merry band of brokers, De Santa makes a huge fortune by defrauding wealthy investors out of millions. However, while De Santa and his cronies partake in a hedonistic brew of , drugs and thrills, the SEC and the FBI close in on his empire of excess.
