"The Woodsman seems to fill in the role of the stereotypical town drunk; he is seldom sober, is dangerously destructive, obstreperous, violent, impulsive, foul-mouthed, short-tempered, callous, and wrathful, threatening to kill both Bigby when he entered the room and Faith, and is without a qualm in his beating of Faith. However, as seen in some of his later scenes, he does show some signs of intelligence, rationality, and even politeness at times, so Woody can be honest and direct to people when he admits that he did something."
