The Wizard's Ascent
How a Fraud Became a God
Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkle Emmanuel Ambroise Diggs was a mediocre circus illusionist from Omaha, Nebraska. Then his balloon went off-course and he landed in a golden field where a crowd of small people called him a wizard. This is the story of how a con man built an empire — and how the lies that made him king slowly consumed everything he once was. A tragicomic rise-and-fall origin told across eight deeply human episodes.
