After a tornado hits their farm, Dorothy and her dog Toto find themselves in a strange Technicolor land. They make new friends, some of whom resemble those they left in Kansas. Glinda the Good Witch tells Dorothy the all-powerful Wizard of Oz can help them return home. As Dorothy and her friends travel to the Emerald City, they must avoid the wrath of the Wicked Witch of the West.
