The Witness Protocol
Sidekick. Fugitive. Key to everything.
Years have passed... Rick Jones (now 25 years old), once a sidekick and now a forgotten figure drifting across America, discovers a hidden SHIELD file naming him as a “Primary Nexus Asset”, someone who has unknowingly stood at the crossroads of every major Marvel event. When an off-grid AI tied to SHIELD targets him for erasure, Rick must reconnect with old legends and new heroes to understand why the universe keeps revolving around him and what he's truly meant to become.
