Kotick is the main character. Despite his white fur, he is sure is special in his own way, at least to his mother and Wilma. Although Kotick and his fellow seals have everything they need, they have one major problem: hunters. If he and the other seals want to live in peace, Kotick had better find them a new home, even it means risking his own life. Just because Kotick is different from the rest of his kind, doesn't mean he can't make a big difference.
