As a result, Elena and her musketeers have made adversaries including the Original vultures THE Mikaelson Family and Katerina Petrova and latterly on Silas and the trippers. The series also focuses on the lives of Elena's musketeers and other occupants of the fictional city of Mystic Falls, Virginia. The series is a blend of teen drama and the supernatural.
