When Loki returns to Earth, he tells Mephisto about his visions of Ragnarök with the hopes Mephisto will save Asguard from it's impending doom but when Thor starts tracking Loki and messes up Mephisto's spell things go haywire and now the Defenders have to help Loki and Thor save the Earth and Asguard from destruction.
