A villain known as The Maker travels to a different reality and uses time travel to systematically prevent superheroes from gaining their powers and becoming heroes while establishing a secret council of super villains known as The Maker's Council, which rules the world from the shadows. But The Maker is gone and exiled from this reality by Howard Stark. His teenage son, Tony Stark, begins to recruit a network of heroes to fight The Maker's Council and prepare for The Maker's Return.
