Jacob Carter was Portal Soldier's first sidekick but after being controlled by a villain called the master of darkness and eventually becoming corrupted, he was placed in the twilight realm a place of only black and white colors and complete silence but after accidentally being let out by Cal Mason he went through a portal which sent him into the 11th century where he eventually killed the king and corrupted the kingdom and when he wore the crown he corrupted it as well so now he goes by Black Crown and is still trying to find a way back to the present.
