Gwen, who recently escaped S.H.I.E.L.D custody, returns to the Parker household and helps Peter has Carnage against Eddie until Eddie steals the Carnage symbiote. And to top it all off the Beetle is trying to hunt the symbiotes and Silver Sable and her Wild Pack return as well. And Peter realizes he might actually be in over his head this time.
