Synopsis

Dear Friends, Sir Topham Hatt (our Fat Controller) has just been having a disturbing time! He ordered one goods engine from Scotland and was surprised to receive two on the run from the scrapper's torch! They had both lost their numbers and no one knew which was which. So he didn't know which engine to keep - but sending either one back would be a death sentence. The Author

  • ltathena Folks, please keep in mind. Even though Wilbert Vere Awdry's take on Percy is male and short for 'Percival', having it be exclusively male reeks of sexism to me and I wanted Percy to be a girl's name as well - Percy short for 'Persephone' - and one of Percy's siblings is named 'Trojan'. Trojan for the Trojan War and Persephone being a player IN the War. So, could that possibly work?
