A childhood friend of Frankenstein. During their school days, he would protect Victor from other boys, who were afraid of him due to his size. He eventually reconnects with Victor while he's working on his experiments. When desperate to find the perfect body for his creation, Frankenstein decides on Stephan. During a dinner celebrating his engagement to Elizabeth, he gets Stephan drunk, and pushes him off a stair banister, framing it as an accident, before harvesting his remains for his creature.
