Mario and Luigi have now ruled mushroom land as they are now the leaders of the village alongside Princess Peach. The thing they don't realize is that a new leader in Bowser Jr is planning to avenge the capturing of his Uncle Bowser. First Bowser Jr and his army takeover Yoshi Land and Mario and Luigi are informed by Yoshi that Bowser Jr is on his way. Mario and the gang come back together to stop Bowser Jr from attacking Mushroom land.
