Synopsis

The film will take place a few years after the events of The Suicide Squad, where Calendar Man (who has escaped Belle Reve penitentiary) and The Mad Hatter have teamed up to form a new plan to ship out Mad Hatter's mind-control hats all over a major city under the guise of them being used for a Christmas festival. With her last iteration of task force X either being dead or escaped, Amanda Waller must use her connections to form a completely new one with the help of Harley Quinn, who has agreed to help Waller in exchange for a completely expunged criminal record, and Rick Flag Jr., the son of the Rick Flag who lead the suicide squad in the last two movies.

Description of Slade Wilson/Deathstroke:

An infamous assassin/mercenary who is known for always getting the job done, he was taken down by Batman and sent to Belle Reve Penitentiary. He was selected by Waller to be the co-leader of the new Task Force X, only agreeing to do so to get time off his sentence so that he can get revenge on Batman.
