An anthology about homelessness in New York told through the eyes of seven individuals; Jon, a PTSD-afflicted veteran who ended up on the streets after his wife left him, Khalid, who ended up living in a hotel after fleeing his native Afghanistan, Mariana, a young Filipino woman living in a homeless shelter and is six months pregnant, Ryan, who chose to live on the streets rather than endure an abusive home life, Christian, a Nigerian pastor who has used his experience with homelessness to help those in need, Sasha, a pregnant Brazilian teenager who wants to escape her life of prostitution and abuse for the sake of her child, and Lionel, a single father living in homeless accommodation after losing his job, desperate to change his life.
