Renarin Kholin is a lighteyed Alethi prince of House Kholin on Roshar, the younger son of Dalinar Kholin and Evi, and the younger brother of Adolin Kholin. He is a Truthwatcher bonded to the corrupted mistspren Glys. Renarin has sapphire-blue eyes, mostly black hair with blond streaks, and a slender build that reflects his lack of combat experience. He initially wears spectacles to correct his vision, but no longer needs them after Stormlight restores his eyesight. Though he wears a Kholin officer's uniform, his physical frailty keeps him from seeing battle until he later joins Bridge Four and adopts their uniform.
