Adolin Kholin is a lighteyed Alethi prince, third in line to the throne of Alethkar, and one of the kingdom's greatest swordsmen. He is the eldest son of Dalinar Kholin and older brother of Renarin Kholin. Adolin is known for his handsome appearance. He has mostly blond hair streaked with black—a reflection of his mixed Alethi and Riran heritage—blue eyes, tan but relatively light skin, and usually stays clean-shaven. His blond hair, inherited from his mother, is viewed by some Alethi as evidence of an "impure" bloodline. His exact height is unclear, as descriptions vary between being slightly shorter than or the same height as his father.
