The black suit begins to take over Peter, and he becomes more and more agressive. Realizing that the symbiote is poising his mind, he seeks help from his mentor Otto Octavious. Unfortunately, Otto would end up having an experiment go wrong that turns him into someone who will be one of Peter's greatest enemies, Doctor Octopus. Eddie begins to feel that Peter is turning into a jerk and loses his job with the Bugle because of him. Wanting revenge he bonds with the black suit when Peter successfully removes it. Releases after Silver and Black and before Venom
