Synopsis

Devastated by the death of George Stacy, and Gwen becoming depressed. Peter, now in college, has been thinking of hanging up the mask and dropping out of being a superhero. But when a mysterious figure known as The Green Goblin threatens everyone close to him, he must defend his loved ones from this new enemy.

Description of The Fallen:

Norman has a hallucination of Spider-Man entering his home and attacking him, and he reveals himself as the superhero. This prompts Norman’s memory, and in a deranged rampage he kidnaps Gwen to lure Spidey. They have a small battle, but in the process Norman drops Gwen onto the Brooklyn Bride from high up, killing her instantly. Peter mourns over her, while Norman escapes, blaming her death on the hero.
