An alarm goes off inside the Morales residence. “Miles, it’s time to wake up,” Rio shouts to her son. Miles Morales pulls a pillow over his head before forcing himself out of bed. Miles gets dressed and walks to the kitchen, grabbing a piece of toast and his bag before trying to open the door. “Where do you think your going, boy” Jefferson straps on his police-issued vest and opens the door. “Your riding with me today” Miles groans and hops into the squad car with his father.
