A hitman who also happens to be a Japanese snow monkey supernaturally tethered to the ghost of a dead assassin. One day, mercenary Bryce McThomas was found unconscious near a clan of Japanese snow monkeys living near some volcanic hot springs and was nursed back to health, but one of the monkeys didn’t want Bryce around and was exiled as a result. When some rival assassins killed Bryce, the monkey took up Bryce’s guns and fought to protect his clan, becoming a legend among assassins. Now known as Hit-Monkey and guided by Bryce’s ghost, Hit-Monkey combined his natural traits with his talent as an assassin, forming a fierce rivalry with Deadpool as dueling mercenaries.
