Our heroine is then sent to the home of Captain Von Trapp to care for his seven children as their governess. Though her welcome was less than warm in the beginning she began to break through the children’s walls and become someone they can confide in. However, while she is thankful to be able to connect with the children, she never expected to form a connection with their father.
