If DiC returned to make a movie in the 2020s
Everyone thought the self-proclaimed ruler of Mobius, Dr. Robotnik, was gone for good. But they were wrong. He was actually sent to the Void, imprisoned by the sorcerer Ixis Naugus, until they made an unholy alliance and plot to conquer Mobius, and destroy their enemies. Sonic and his friends now have to get whoever they can to defeat the full force of Robotnik and Naugus' alliance to save Mobius once and for all. But Sonic knows he'll need help. So, he found his own siblings Sonia and Manic, along with their friend Knuckles, (who were continuing the search for Sonic's mother) to defeat Robotnik. Eventually, they meet a familiar face, and a years-long search finally comes to an end . . . Sonic's own mother, the rightful queen of Mobius, Aleena.
