Norrin Radd was an everyman just living his life with a wife and two children when the celestial known as Galactus the Devourer came from above threatening his planet and his family. In exchange for sparing his planet, Norrin offered to become his herald, and seek out other planets with sentient life for Galactus to consume. So Norrin became a being of immeasurable power, serving who appeared to him to be the devil to do to their planets what he couldn’t let happen to his own.
