Synopsis

Based loosely on the novel. The Scarlet Pimpernel is not one individual but a shared identity. Sir Percy Blakeney and his wife Margueritte were the first Pimpernels leading double lives as part of the British élite. They donned the red capes and masks to save the people of France, whether noble or peasant from the Reign of terror. Now as conflicts and crime spring up both at home and beyond, the Symbol of the Pimpernel is more important then ever. They recruit likeminded men and women to double as agents a protect the helpless. Events would encompass, the french revolution, Napoleonic wars, and the War of 1812.

Description of Dr. Arthur Hammond:

A British Army Doctor who is the League's chief physician. He rarely does any fighting due to his Quaker upbringing but always carries a small derringer. He was a recovering alcholic when the Percy and Marguerite found him and his involvement remains reliant on his soberiety.
