Fan Casting Hob Gadling in The Sandman (1996)

Robert "Hob" Gadling is a supporting character in The Sandman. A perpetually immortal as well as cheerful and optimistic Englishman. He refused to die in 1389 and struck a deal with Dream to meet every century to discuss his endless life, becoming a beloved, long-lived friend in the process. To return a favor, he aided both Dream and Death in their quest to retrieve the former's artifacts.
