Japanese American news reporter Rebecca Asakawa is a bit intrigued and a little skeptical of the story until the four teenagers in Japan all mysteriously simultaneously dying on week thanks to the tape. Rebecca decides to travel to Japan and investigate curiously but that curiosity gets the better of her as she tracks down the tapes watches it. Now she has seven days to uncover and unravel this mystery
