Synopsis

Description of "The battle for Earth begins." (Mid-credits scene):

Steppenwolf's fleet has finally arrived at Earth. Onboard his command ship, Steppenwolf himself orders one of his crew to send a message back to Darkseid to let him know that they had reached Earth. He then gives the order to the fleet to begin landing troops.
