A young man in his late 20s to early 30s that has an overweight stature, bald head, flabby arms, and bad teeth. Jason’s older brother, Ronnie is the one who initially sets them out on the journey to find whatever mauled and tore apart the horses at their ranch. Much like August, he’s not in the story long, and is one of the first characters to lose their lives, but it’s his loss, among other factors, that turns Jason from a somewhat cowardly redneck to a brave young man that aids in Murray and Holly’s escape from Dixon.
