A deaf, olive-colored skin young woman in her 20s that can read lips, mouth words. Janine’s best friend, Holly is one of the innocent bystanders caught in the middle of this horrific ordeal. Yet, despite all that goes on around her, Holly does her best to help others with her medical knowledge, hiking expertise, and gun usage. And she does all this while being deaf and going blind. She also becomes the one person Murray fiercely protects throughout the story, be it against Dixon or one of the title monsters. They do develop a friendship throughout, with Holly even snapping Murray out of wanting to give up.
