Ex detective, now Vigilante Private Investigator Vic Sage aka Question, is on the verge of uncovering a series of murders with no or little similarities between them. He discovers a woman's burned and charred in a dumpster and another woman with multiple stab wounds in an ally behind a restaurant. Can he uncover the mystery within this mystery?
Ending: Vic is shoot dead by Black Mask. He passes the torch to Renee Montoya and she becomes The Question.
