Synopsis

Tiana is a happy little girl who lives with her mother at work and comes home eager to eat her father's cooking and talk about how one day they will open the best restaurant in New Orleans. Years later, Tiana is a waitress and works tirelessly, saving every penny, to fulfill her dream for the memory of her father. One day she meets the arrogant Prince Naveen, who has been transformed into a toad by a scheming voodoo wizard, who asks her to kiss him to break the spell in exchange for whatever she asks of him. Tiana kisses him but instead of turning Naveen into a human, she ends up turning into a toad too. Now, with the help of a trumpet-playing crocodile, a lovesick firefly, and a blind old woman, Naveen and Tiana must race to break the spell and fulfill their dreams.
