In the heart of a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, 14-year-old Malik “Fool” Jackson and two older activists break into the decaying estate of the reclusive Robeson family, hoping to expose the landlords responsible for displacing dozens of residents. But once inside, they discover a nightmarish fortress—rigged with traps, crawling with surveillance, and hiding something far worse beneath the floorboards. What began as a mission of justice becomes a desperate fight for survival. Trapped in a maze of sealed tunnels and locked rooms, Fool uncovers the truth: the Robesons have been kidnapping and imprisoning children for decades, trying to create their own “perfect family” under the guise of wealth and charity. With help from a disfigured runaway hiding in the walls and the silent, feral children below, Fool must outwit the psychotic siblings and bring the horror within the house to light—before he becomes just another voice screaming behind the walls.
